I'm a vet and although I was never called upon to serve in a war zone, I would have. Life is tough, but we have an all volunteer military.

Sorry....not good enough. These guys grow up in small towns and have been filled up with patriotic fervor by their elders from when they were young. They see their country attacked by terrorists and they want to avenge the Americans who died. They don't understand when their country invades Iraq that it has little to do with the terrorists; that it has to do with their president's ties with the neoconservatives and the oil industry in this country. They don't understand that the oilfields of the ME have become America's new manifest destiny.

No, they are not sophisticated enough to understand the corruption and internal politics of DC.......so they go marching off to war.....to fight a war that should not have been fought. Its unconscionable!

And then they come back maimed, defeated, psychologically twisted, hating the army and hating war. What happens when the US really does get attacked.......who will defend it then?

There are consequences for deception, blatant wrongness and bad actions. We will pay in spades for all the missteps Bush has made.
