Interactive MultiMedia Publishers signs letter of intent to acquire International Satellite Communications
AKRON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 1996--Interactive MultiMedia Publishers Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DROM) announced today that the company has signed a letter of intent to acquire Chicago-based International Satellite Communications Corp. ("InterSat") for an undisclosed amount of stock.
This letter of intent is subject to shareholder approval by both companies.
Dr. P. Joseph Vertucci, president and chief executive officer of Interactive MultiMedia Publishers, said InterSat had revenues of about $3 million in 1995, earned a profit, and will add about $2.5 million to his company's assets.
InterSat is a private satellite communications company offering highly compressed digitized voice, data and graphics processing. The company serves customers in the U.S. and in 70 other countries in Latin America, Europe and the Caribbean.
