OT: Every single person you named made choices -- options in their life -- that they did not have to make. Instead, they could have made others which led to better outcomes. I could go on, for pages, but in my experience, when I encounter a statement in which it's obvious a person has no true understanding of personal accountability, instead believing that the cause of one's ills come from without, those words will fall on deaf ears. So good luck in some other place. There really are healthier cultures, but finding them and being happy are two difficult things to accomplish. And being in a healthier culture does not guarantee one that they won't still end up living around people who have drug problems, for they exist about everywhere too. BTW, I only mentioned A.Baldwin because of his Saturday Night Live skit. I didn't mean to trigger a bunch of contemporaneous memories, none of which I'm aware of (by choice -- I'm happier that way).
