Selling to lock in profits is one approach, BUT by all means NOT the only approach. MANY REAL DayTraders buy LOW ( at the end of the day during profit taking ) and sell HIGH ( when the Buyers are running up the price during the oppening hours )

Like I said, I have no problem with selling before the close. Each stock has to be judged as to what is best to do. MANY stock should be sold before the close, BUT do not act like that is the only thing DayTraders do, Because that would be a MAJOR LIE!

Why is everyone so touchy on this thread?
