We used to have Wells Fargo and had a huge problem similar to that with a loan. We had them draft our Wells Fargo checking account to pay the Wells Fargo loan. It would be taken from the account and this happened twice, they won't post it to the loan until after the due date. Got me for two late payments which I said I wasn't going to pay. There's no money exchanging hands, it's all on paper or in this case, thin air. We closed every account except the loan account, moved it to another bank and paid the loan off later that year.
