Elroy, how many times have you been stop in the street and was ask to convert? How much do you pay in taxes for being a non Muslim in a Muslim country? Zero and zero. So Nadine's claims are complete hogwash because of my personal experience? Perhaps. However, isn't it illegal to hold a Christian ceremony in Saudi Arabia? And aren't some people getting killed in Iraq for selling booze? Aren't people being told in Iran to change their hairstyle because it's not Islamic enough? And isn't a Malaysian women born to a Muslim family denied the right to declare herself no longer a Muslim even thought she believes she converted to Christianity? Don't young women occassionally get killed by their family for falling in love with a non-Muslim? There's clearly a bit of coercion going on. Rather than just calling Nadine's hate speech hate speech it would be more interesting to disect her claims and disprove them. "That has never happened to me" isn't quite enough.
