Knighty, one point that is left out is that it takes all parties to be decent and moral. if one isn't, the guys without a proper defense, including a threat of offense, end up speaking the language of the immoral party pretty quickly. iow, jesus was right some 2000 years ago. humanity has 0% chance of long term viability. his prophecy that humanity would extinguish itself except for his direct future intervention appears to be pretty obvious to me. wait until the gas really starts to get scarce. i can see tens of millions dying over oil control when whole national economies are at risk. everyone says god isn't falsifiable, but i'm not sure they are totally correct. humanity getting along as one big happy family in a puddle of joy would falsify the god of the bible, who says that is an utter impossibility without his direct intervention.
