Dude, didn't anyone ever tell you not to argue with a brick?
I gave it up long ago. You can't argue with blind faith.

Now I just sit back and wonder how people can be the way they are.

About 10% of my extended family are "nut case" religious born again "christians". The kind that say nothing happens but for the grace of god. god will take care of my needs. If god wills it it will be, etc.. In two cases, one, my sibling and the other, a niece, pregnancy just wasn't happening no matter how hard they tried. You think maybe their god was trying to tell them something? Oh no! One vied for fertility drugs, the other for artificial insemination. One miscarried, the other has an autistic child. I don't think any god had anything to do with the outcome. I'm not cruel enough to ask them what they think.

Use religion when you want. Ignore it when you want. It is like the perfect drug.
