Simply put: the point of the whole exercise is paint Islam in a favorable light. JMO.

CNN's Market in Islam is almost as big as their domestic market. Gotta keep the customer's happy. If they piss off Christians or Jews they get letters. If they piss off Muslims they get letter-bombs.
