I thought that was an excellent article which gives one an unusual glimpse into the minds of moderate Israelis and reveals their dissatisfaction and frustration with the way the country has turned out for them.

I am empathic with Israelis like that who realize that something is very wrong but are powerless to do anything to fix it because the majority treats them with contempt. Inevitably, they are left with the alternative either of having to lead a miserable and very scary existence in Israel or else leave and make their lives elsewhere.
