LIAR. The surge is a bandaid for temporary relief at a huge-huge cost to our military and treasury. It is unsustainable. The Bushies are trying desperately to make it work, and we all hope it does have some positives, but the way they are doing it is cutting deals with the very same people they called the evil-doers and terrorists before. These may be the same guys who stole our 145,000 AK-47's. It's all so corrupt it's unbelieveable. Bush may end up starting giving another horrid war between Sunnis and Shias, which makes him no different than saddam Hussein who kept the Iran-Iraq going for many years. And at the end of the day, this will cost the average American family (including yours) about $50,000 and probably around 40,000 Americans killed or wounded. Bush has also devastated our military in the process and doubled the price of gasoline, though Bushies would have done that to us anyway.
