It's interesting that the individual states are taking responsibility and leading. If only we could get the federal level on board we might have a movement. And I'm talking both the Fed executive and congressional branches. The theme of the article could be taken a step further; instead of investing in new power plants why not have the energy companies invest in solar panels on my roof. I'll let them use if for free. Good "L" shaped exposure South and West. I would have to lose my solar pool heater panels but that's OK.
