Ramsey,

My understanding is that (and I hope I am corrected if I am wrong) that Sun gives out the licences for Java as one master, meaning for example for Microsoft that they get to use the technology and distribute it. Microsoft gets to develop its Java related products basedon that master permission Sun has issued to Microsoft (e.g. Visual J++, IE 4.0, etc.). However if an injunction is issued against Microsoft, they have to pull everything off because everything was derived from that master license.

This law suit is lawyers paradise! But I dont think Microsoft's lawyers can say much since they have been caught red handed!

Regards,
