For now, I have accepted that Rudy will BACK OFF of Gun Control on a NATIONAL level. If that were to prove to be false then I would have to find another candidate to support. The reason is, I trust MY GUNS more then I trust the Government and its ability to protect me and mine. I could NEVER vote for a candidate, no matter how good he/she might be otherwise if they advocated taking away or controlling my right to own a weapon for self defense. I can give some leeway in Assault weapons as I can see their point there (although I have many friends who own AK-47'S and the like and I know for a fact they are upstanding citizens). Personally, I dont and have no desire to do so. Costs too much to fire them, they go through ammo pretty quick. jdn
