Good for you! Helping others preserve capital is a worthwhile venture and it sounds like you take the responsibility seriously. I only have me to look after. My serious money is tucked away very safely in CD's and T-bills. They don't make a lot of money, but they grow no matter what the DJIA does. My "play" money is in my trading account, which isn't serious, but still makes money. Have to take Sweet Shirley out to lunch and dinner pretty often. ggg
