That is so strange because I definitely had it........and still do.........(6th lead now), left column, as last night (errrrr sorry, this am) at 1:06 PDT. Like all newspapers, the ST updates their pages on a continual basis in order to present the news as it happens or shortly there after. Think of continual and spontaneous Drudge front page refreshing. Awww the luxury of the Internet..which puts editors on the line to get it quickly right/truthful, who sometimes, though not often, fail. News when you want it, as it happens.....or shortly there after, all the time.....supposedly. ;)
I for the life of me cannot understand why you are not seeing the same front page of the Seattle Times that I am seeing? Just checked, and story is sixth lead down on left.
FBI asks: Who are the Men in this photo from the ferry?
I personally don't see anything wrong in questioning individuals about why they are taking pictures and asking all sorts of technical questions about any public form of transportation.......they should be questioned as to their motives, and if pictures are available, posted on new sites.
If it were two or three blond, blue eyed Finns, they should be interviewed too. I don't care what the person looks like, this is a post 9/11 world, and intense scrutiny is the order of the day. This argument that you can't profile Arab looking persons because it just isn't fair is about as ridiculous as it gets. Men from the ME with arab features where responsible for that day, and to ignore that fact is a dereliction of duty.
BTW, I think it might have been a woman taking those pics. Those guys have that look in their eyes. |
