The lawyers oath is to the ABA.

The American Bar Association ("ABA") is a private trade organization of lawyers whose membership is voluntary. I resigned my membership shortly after the ABA announed it would have BJ Billy as a keynote spekaer shortly following his impeachment. If you are speaking of the Arkansas Bar Association....it was not the Association but the Supreme Court of Arknasas which oversees attorney discipline which took the aciton to disbar that scumbag.

In other words, you are incorrect. The oath I have taken in each state where I am admitted is sworn or affirmed to the Supreme Court of that state....which requires us all as lawyers to be scrupulously honest and ethical in our dealings with the Court and other parties and to comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct....it is an oath of office as officers of the Court similar to the oath of office BJ Billy took (and breached) when he was inaugurated.

Lawyers are held to a higher standard in their dealings with parties and the Court which is why it is worse when BJ Billy engaged in his reprehensible behavior. As for the term perjury, perjury denotes a criminal offense with which Clinton was not convicted....this is true. However, what he ADMITTED to, paid fines for, settled lawsuits for, and the lengths he went to to conceal his misdeeds, including million from the US Treasury, is just as bad if not worse given the twin oaths he breached to the country and to the AR Supreme Court.

You are minimizing that which can not be defended. Clinton is a confirmed scumbag. Period.
