OT, after hours analysis of Iraq. This is according to Michael Ware (CNN)arguably the best reporter in Iraq: I had to post this as it is sort of a story people are just learning including me.

The sunnie and shia are in a civil war. We are giving to both sides (sunnie in anbar for example to fight al qaeda (shia do not like it))(and shia militia's pretty much in most of the rest of the country(sunnie do not like it); and trying to keep both sides from killing each other.

The shia 60% fo population have no intentions of sharing the oil with the sunnie 20% of population(most oil is on shia tribal land) as Sadam was sunnie and the shia want vengence.

The shia and sunnie are already segregating themselves.

The shia militia's running the country are influenced more by Iran than the US, as is Malaki.

The sunnie are supported by the saudi's, syria, jordon, egypt and pakistan.

So what we are doing in effect to use our 1860 civil war is this:

what we are doing is the same as If Briton or france had come over here during our civil war and gave money to both the north and the south and then came into our country and tried to keep both sides from killing each other throughout our country.

Does this make any sense at all???
