(A 'DARE coordinator' who says that DARE works. <g>)

Unfortunately there have been literally dozens of States (and even more localities) that have tried to assess the program in recent years, and a couple of national surveys... and 'feel good Hokum' appears to be the considered opinion of most....

(Of course, there is always the 'placebo effect' to put your faith in. Spinning in a circle three times to your left and having kids recite the alphabet backwards might produce some sort of slight, but measurable, 'positive result'....)

Or not. (Either way: Who cares! I mean, so long as taxpayer money gets spent, and politicians can bloviate and get elected on such politically correct feel-good pap. Right?)
