"Opponents frequently despaired of finding anything to disparage in his personal life." You mean other than that he was a blasphemous blowhard who used fatuous argumentation? "Solon's comment...42 innocent children suffering an agonizing murder." You assume they were innocent when all the actual evidence indicates just the opposite. Even Clifford Olsen has a mother and no doubt she would weep if he received the justice he deserves in this lifetime. The fact that simply begging the question and appealing to emotion is the thrust of Ingersoll's argument just demonstrates what a lightweight he really was.
