In addition to tracking web traffic / reach using Alexa, I find it helpful to view major organic search results from yahoo / google / ask when you type in words like free driver updates / scans. As a product or service becomes more popular, you start to see it show up in the top ten search results. This in turn helps increase demand for the company's goods and services as more potential customers try their service. See yahoo's number one search result below: search.yahoo.com DC
