koan: LC you are a very smart guy, so let me try some logic on you. When you discuss politics do you just go up to strangers and discuss it with them, or do you discuss it with your friends and aquaintances?
If any of us discusses the many very serious issues facing our nation today, we usually do it with people we know.
Not strangers!
I certainly do not know any of the people on any of the political threads. I only post on two threads for all practical purposes.
Now I saved it until after trading hours, and kept it to one post, and made it mild and more fact based and informational, which I thought was within the rules.
If any of us goes to any of the political threads on SI we do not know those people and discussing things of importance in that situation, IMO, is more like howling at the moon. And is sort of nuts-lol.
I only howl at the moon when I am drunk-lol.
And last, what really puzzles me is that you post very controversial things (which I usually agree with and am glad you do) quite frequently, so how does that work?
LC, these are very trying times and sometimes a little civil disobedience is a very necssary and patriotic thing to engage.
