Hubby said almost the exact same thing about Walla Walla to me the other day when I told him you and yours might visit us at the cabin. He suggested you bring a nice bottle of local wine if you do. Looks like you picked a nice place to live. Did I tell you our city council has decided to deny a rezone to 4 houses per acre and permits that would have allowed 130 homes three blocks away from me? We are zoned 1 house per acre.........inside the city limits..........and were dreading the decision. Among other things, they found that the development would be "inconsistent with the neighborhood character." We are soooooo relieved. I think we are going to remain just the way we are......very rural setting......... for a long time.
