metacomet, I take it you look at Gold and Silver as more of a religious belief, where I just look at what the price action, volume, and momentum tell me. I really don't care about fundamental discussions about shiny stuff, as it has very little to do with the price action of Gold. Gold is a commodity and financial instrument as well as a store of value. Nothing more. As a financial instrument, it is subject to the same irrational swings as any stock or index. Lucky for the religious aspect of Gold, or about 1/2 of the newsletter writers would be out of business.
