He did say every month since January, I believe. And the odds of totally eradicating fanatical extremists seems too daunting a task. That is why imo we need to get as many Iraqi citizens on board. They need to be able to report suspicious activity, and participate in local, regional and national govt. They need their children to be educated, their hospitals and govt buildings operational and functioning, and they need the assurance that the govt is making their towns and villages as secure and safe as possible. They need to put a lot of faith in themselves and their leaders, and I can see why, after 30 + yrs of nothing but Saddam, that would be very difficult.

I hope that someday that all kinds of volunteer teachers from all over the world can go and teach in Iraq for a week, a month or a year.
