I wonder if the average Iraqi understand the stakes we face here in the U.S. in the upcoming national election? I think they are too busy trying to avoid fanatical murderers, make a living and stay alive to be able to give it much thought. But isn't it interesting how their independence and very future relies so much on political events here. I hope those Americans that vote remember them when they do.
