Man's burning of carbon based resources is causing the temps on this planet to rise. True or not true, the CO2 levels still trail the temperature plots by YEARS and that's a fact. I think you mean 'precede' instead of "trail". CO2 levels had exceeded normal parameters by the beginning of the 20th century. By the 1920s, the US was beginning to experience some hot years. I don't think 20 years is all that significant a variance. BTW I don't know why they haven't gotten this around to you guys but the right is now accepting there is GW. They just don't think it will be a big deal. So you need to reset your argument to reflect the lastest rightwing update. ;-)
