(Bush's) "his budget....liberal" Get it through your head - its the Demorats who believe in responsible management of government money. Its a childlike point of view to associate fiscal irresponsibility with being liberal. Thats just the stuff of ancient folklore. Reagan is a god in Conservative circles but he ballooned the deficit and vastly increased government spending and thats hardly being fiscally responsible. See this graph: libertyunbound.com The only period where spending and the deficit were under control was under (BJ) Clinton. Yeah - (BJ) Clinton ran the most responsible Government - believe that. Conservative are all about raiding the Government coffers to give tax breaks to people who don't need them and providing corporate welfare to the military-industrial complex. Other than that I don't see any "values" - unless you consider talking about social Conservative issues during the election cycle as having "values". You have a "quaint" and cute conception of Conservatism.
