Hi Bob, Re: high yield closed end funds..........

Last week's peculiar market sent most of the closed end funds I follow for high yield into the toilet. It took a plumber's helper to get them to flush.

However, here it is a week later and many have regained a significant amount of what was temporarily given up. I added to my own holding during the "attack."

I own this one in my retirement account, so let the dividends accumulate in the cash column. I'd been troubled by the long time since I'd last been able to do any buying on weakness up until about a month ago. Since then we've solved that "problem."

Here's a bunch that I follow.

As you can see, they all were hit hard last week. As far as I've seen there's been no reduction in their dividends, so this was just a FEAR thing that hit the markets last week.

Hope all is well with you,
Tom
