New Dimension Software Announces Enhanced Support for IBM OS/390(R) R/4
New Dimension Software's Systems Management Product Lines Provide Same Day Support For New Version of IBM's OS/390, Extending Interoperability of Powerful Enterprise Management Solutions
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- New Dimension Software (Nasdaq:DDDDF - news) today announced that its systems management product lines have been enhanced to support IBM's newest operating system for large systems, OS/390 Release 4. Working jointly with IBM's Vendors Center in Dallas, Texas, New Dimension Software tested its MVS-based enterprise production management and enterprise output management product lines on Release 4 of IBM's OS/390.
Based on the company's unique three-tier structure, Integrated Operations Architecture(R) (I0A), New Dimension Software's MVS systems management solutions include the CONTROL-M line of production scheduling and control software; CONTROL-B, automated data integrity solution; CONTROL-R automatic job restart package; CONTROL-T removable media management software; CONTROL-0 automated operations software; CONTROL-D/V output management, archive and viewing software; and CONTROL-I/2000 automated year 2000 testing and data validation solution. With the new enhancement, this entire line of products fully supports Release 4 of IBM's OS/390, extending the functionality of the new operating system.
