Like Brumar said, people get challenged on their faith all the time, told they are stupid, luddites, knuckle-draggers, etc etc. The measure of how challenged someone will be is not whether he professes a religious faith or a political philosophy, but how far away his views are from those of the challenger. The MSM, which operates under the illusion that they have found the one Golden Mean spot free of bias, illusion or the opiate of religion from which to view the world, routinely denigrates the faith of religious people of many faiths.
