This buyout happened very quickly. If Microprose management thought they could have gotten a better deal, they certainly would have held out for more. No one held a gun to their head. The ship must have been sinking rapidly. I don't forsee any bidding war. You have to differentiate between good games and a good earnings. They don't necessarily go hand-in-hand. The earnings warning announced right after the buyout was probably timed to quell any shareholder concerns. Why let good games and talent go to waste with year after year of losses? GT has the resources to keep this business alive. I hope things work out well for all involved. Regards Buddy
