And there ya go, proving my point.

Somebody's gotta do it.

But seriously, what point is that? Every time I argue that liberals aren't monolithically stupid (that's been my point from the beginning), you point to a specific instance of CNN displaying their famous liberal bias.

The theme of the James Lewis article was that liberals are universally, laughably stupid. ("Libs believe the darndest things.") When I pointed out that his own generalizations were just as wacky, you came back with the CNN bit, but I'm having a hard time grokking that CNN's liberal bias proves Libs are universally stupid.

It looks like you're actually disagreeing with someone else. A strawman, maybe?

Or maybe you're just trying to shift the point to something I won't argue with. If your point is that CNN is biased to the liberal side, I agree with you. In that case, you're just arguing with yourself. (Are those arguments easier to win?)

(Or maybe I'm just arguing with myself. Hmmm.)

One thing I liked about Lewis' article though: he advocates laughter. Most of my friends are Libs. (I'm a part-time musician in the Portland, Oregon area. It can't be helped.) I had to chuckle when Lewis recommended doing the very thing I generally do when some of my Lib friends succumb to BDS: I bite my tongue and marvel. It's easy.

And, when I'm in my right mind, I do the same thing here.
