A version of the NDS software that runs on Windows NT is to be released in the first quarter of 1998, said the spokesman for the Orem, Utah maker of network software. Directory services software keeps track of users on a computer network. Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) also is working on providing directory services for Windows NT with a product called Active Directory.
