That was horrifying.

When one sees the ovens at the concentration camps ; Views the atrocities committed by ordinary soldiers gleaned from reading books about WWII.... Man's inhumanity to man becomes
salient... unfortunately.

There will always be sadists and humans who relish hurting others. It's part of the human condition it would seem.

How to alter it I do not know. Look at the crime rate in this country with teens killing one another.. There are sociopaths in every facet of society.

Look at Vick who tortured dogs without flinching. Now another rapper is being investigated for maltreatment of dogs.

It could go on and on. I think that the military has to be
very selective on whom they allow to guard prisoners..
They also should profile all soldiers for symptoms of uncontrolled anger, hatred of other's who may not conform to what they believe is the norm.. homosexuals for example.

This will never happen. Every group has it's wolf pack.

The testimony of this prisoner is just affirmation of what I had to learn when I was only 20 years old and with the
soldiers being repatriated from Korea. Their stories were
chilling and I almost had a breakdown from learning that we
do not give out Hershey bars and candy to every one in war.
