Re: "Ideological Terrorism"

If you want to CONFLATE two different words to make up your own new phrases, well, go ahead.

(But, it doesn't CHANGE the well-accepted MEANING of either of the two words you used above. :-)

'Terrorism' is a TACTIC (a tactic of warfare, a reprehensible one, with examples that stretch down through history, and it is *often* - though not always associated with ASYMMETRICAL force structures during conflicts).

It is a TACTIC, not an ideology... although it can (and certainly has been, many times) utilized in the pursuit of ideological aims... as well as in the pursuit of every other aim that has ever been associated with war, i.e., greed, power, vengeance, etc., etc.

(Nazis have practiced the tactic of terrorism, Communists have, Capitalists, religious extremists [from many religions], it has been the official policy of nations, Kings, etc.)
