Well, actually he is off right now buying a new baseball uniform for a Labor Day tournament. (really, I kid you not), so I can't ask him.

But I think he saw Kristol as hitting fouls rather than home runs though, at least in the historical sense. He doesn't spend much time on the day to day political infighting and partisan garbage from either side, so he woulnd't do much cheering for either Hillary or Bush's football plays.. he would see the same ball being thrown back and forth from opposite sides of the 50 yard line, lots of times out of bounds.
