I've watched the action today with amazement and shock. How people can get so worked up and panic stricken over nothing! What is different fundamentally now then two weeks ago? More skus, blowout prices on zips in the channel to make room for the Zip plus. I just don't get it. Why do people invest in something only to be spooked out of their position? Don't they believe in the company? Has it disappointed to date? Those who bailed today caused the steepness of the decline and will be jumping back on board when the manipulators create the runup. No one likes to see paper profits vaporize, but Iomega has been and will most likely continue to be a great investment, until and if the fundies change. For me, when I sell, I will be out for good. I don't see any reason for that now. The price could go back into the teens, but earnings will ultimitely determine the price of the stock. I guess what I would truly like to see would be more institutional ownership, then there wouldn't be this type of panic selling. But until the weak hands get out and stay out, the stock will not get the respect that it has earned.
