Jeff...Got a question for ya.

Do you believe that all Market Makers are honest or do you believe that there are dishonest shops, dishonest traders, and true boiler room operations still in existence? Boiler Room is not a term for scam CEO but for scam member firm.

Now, since the MM sees the entire order and in many cases is aware of an insider dumping newly registered shares, do you not think that the MM will try to profit off this news? Trade parallel to the large block sale or even front run it (Pasternak). Would such trading be illegal and most likely inflict pain on shareholders?

Would you/do you condone such activities?

When the VP of the NASD claimed that many market makers set up "sell only" shops and used their market making exemptions to circumvent short sale regulations did you think that was an issue that should be addressed and .... would such trades be legal or illegal if there appeared no attempt at "making a market on both sides"?

I know these are difficult questions because we are talking details and not rhetoric but try if you can. This isn't about message board touts and bashers, this is about statements made by regulatory people in the know.
