Meanwhile, many people will make a bundle starting pollution control companies in China, sourcing products with China based costs, lower transportation costs that foreign makers, home based support and training, etc. Add on the big export markets, most of which are in Asia, and there is an opportunity to do well by doing good ;-)

Electrostatic percipitators and bag houses for coal fired boilers is an obvious place to start. I expect the power plants near Beijing, Shanghai, and HK have them and use them, but lots of smaller, older and more rural facilities won't.

Also, get contract to haul away the waste - the percipitated dust has sulfur, which can be used as fertilizer or sulfuric acid.

Also, often trace minerals like vanadium, and even uranium in coal emisions.
