It's really nice to see you rewriting history. You may not have noticed that one of the lessons in Nam is that the threat of US intervention provokes a response to protect national sovereignty. So Ho runs to Moscow & NK develops a bomb. Cuz we push them into corners.

Despite your attempted rewrite, the record of these people who brought us Iraq and re create Nam are spectacularly wrong. Spectacularly. Have you been right once? Has Shrub?
So you rewrite history. And you send other people off to die for your theories cuz you haven't got the guts to go fight yourself, whether in Iraq or Israel.

Yes, I know; you are too precious and important to put your life on the line for your beliefs.

Maybe we should try this trick. It didn't work very well once in Nam, so maybe it won't work well again.

October 23, 1955 - Bao Dai is ousted from power, defeated by Prime Minister Diem in a U.S.-backed plebiscite which was rigged. Diem is advised on consolidating power by U.S. Air Force Col. Edward G. Lansdale, who is attached to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
