It's really nice to see you rewriting history. You may not have noticed that one of the lessons in Nam is that the threat of US intervention provokes a response to protect national sovereignty. So Ho runs to Moscow & NK develops a bomb. Cuz we push them into corners. Yes, I know, America bad bad bad, nobody do nothing 'ceptn reaction to big bad America...give me an fkn break. Ho Chi Minh was a devoted communist since 1921. He was running a one-party Communist state since 1950, complete with Mao's assistance and ideological purges, all before we supposed "pushed" him into anything. I rewrote this history? I love it. These are uncontested facts of history. The more interesting question is why you think America is responsible for what everybody else does everywhere.
