In "this War on Terrorism" we are fighting the radical Muslim Jihadist. They wish to destroy us as well as killing anyone in their path. This is what is before the world now. The common ideological factor as you are aware is the religion and philosophy of Jihad. At this time, I know of no existing religion other than the radical Muslim Jihadist who will sacrifice their own children with bombs attached to them to kill other people. Yes, that is uncivilized and reprehensible. If you know of any other current religion or current philosophy that uses a child as a bomb, please name them. mj
