Ya, right, big bad us. We should have happily aided in seeing Chinese power extended all the way down the Mekong. After all, the Chinese were soooo happy in their Mao suits. So what if Mao killed 30 or 40 million people? Better than dividing the country, anything but that!

Have you run your great geopolitical wisdom by any South Koreans lately, to ask them how much they resent being a separate country from the happily communist north?

There are many worse things on earth than American interference.
