UK housing - as I understand almost all the loans are adjustable. Bank of England has been raising rates for a while to stop inflation and excess speculation.

Once the housing market softens, and some of the sillyness goes away, the B of E has considerable room to cut rates, as the British Pound is really strong, many people saying too strong.

So the UK is where it should be at the top of an economic cycle - rates are moderately high and rising, and the currency is high.
