Regarding VICK I guess I will add my 2 cents worth. First off I like dogs, I own two. Second, I dont believe in nor would I ever wish to observe a dog fight. That being said, I think Vick is being punished PLENTY. To begin with he is going to lose a minimum of $10 million this year, plus his Nike Contract (dont know the value of that), plus the NFL has said his team can pursue getting back the $22million signing bonus he was paid plus he is INDEFINITELY SUSPENDED from the NFL, plus he now faces 12-18 months in prison. Finally, there is a good chance he will be PERMANENTLY barred from playing sports professionally (his contract was about $128 Million I believe). Now, what we may have done is create a man who will have to live a life of CRIME by taking away his ability to earn a living. Isnt that enough punishment? jdn
