Global Rail Systems Acquires Personal Traffic Master Software From Alstom Transport

MARLIN, Texas, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Rail Systems, Inc. (http://www.globalrailsystems.com), a Marlin, Texas-based railroad automation company, said today it has acquired the Personal Traffic Master software system from Alstom Transport. The Personal Traffic Master System is a mature and proven software platform for dispatching yards, CTC, and dark territory on both main line and transit properties.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Global Rail Systems will modify the software and market the system as TrackMaster(TM). The new acquisition will complement Global Rail Systems existing YardMaster(TM) System.

"This acquisition immediately allows us to provide our customers with a proven platform for main line and yard control systems. It also provides Global Rail Systems with a firm foundation for the development of our Next Generation Office System," said Global Rail Systems Executive Vice President David Ruskauff.
