Harris Stratex Networks Hosts Congressman David Price at Research Triangle Park Headquarters

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSTX - News), the leading independent supplier of turnkey wireless transmission solutions, hosted U.S. Representative David Price (D-NC) at its headquarters on Friday, August 24. Rep. Price currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee and is Chair of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee.
Congressman Price toured the company's headquarters, which includes its engineering center of excellence, where Harris Stratex Networks employees are working on the next phase of its TRuepoint® family of microwave digital radios used in public and private wireless transmission networks. The facility is also home to product development, customer service, manufacturing and executive teams, as well as human resources and finance.
As the Chairman of the Department of Homeland Security Subcommittee, Price is actively involved in the key issues of homeland security and first responders. His efforts are focused on supporting these groups and ensuring that first responders such as law enforcement agencies receive the funding and support they need to do their jobs.
