The bottom line is that life is not fair. Mulholland commented that Vick was railroaded. My point was he is a high profile defendant. One of the purposes of criminal prosecutions is deterrence. The prosecutors hit paydirt with Vick in that regard with all the publicity this story got. Vick wasn't railroaded - he was stupid to think that someone like him with a $120 million NFL contract and the visibility that comes with it could get away with being involved in illegal dog fighting.
