Good afternoon GZ, thanks for the link, but I am on a slow connection and couldn’t use it. I really didn’t want to see the video anyway, because you know me, when I see his lips moving I know he’s lying. I wanted to see the 12 points in print, so I Googled it, and found a number of sites that carried the story. I visited a few, and apparently none of the pundits were overly impressed with the “commitments.” Even the Hispanic business site was lukewarm. The right-wingers had it captioned as a 12-point plan for failure…. but they are liberals, so what do they know….. Come to think of it, there is not much difference between the right and left these days.
GZ, I must say I’m greatly disappointed after the drum roll and all, I was expecting a real plan, however, it is nothing more than the usual platitudes and banal promises of your garden variety huckster politician. And as far as a plan to defeat terrorism, all that he stated was “Fight terrorism proactively“ now where are the specifics in that?…. and he wants to send 12 more brigades to Iraq and of course he will be leading the charge right …yeah just like he did in New York when he spent all his time at the ball park after 9/11.
I wonder where those 12 brigades are going to come from since we are stretched so thin now?....or maybe he will try to reinstitute the draft – that should go over big. How many more lives and billions of our tax dollars is he willing to commit to this boondoggle?
And the National ID card bit that he is promoting is a nice touch. Let’s all give big brother more opportunity to keep an eye on, and pry into our personal business. As an aside, I might mention Ron Paul is against the national ID, he fortunately has this thing about the Bill Of Rights....
GZ, you beat me up because you kept on insisting on knowing what the Congressman’s plan was. You were unable to read for yourself or discern what it was, so I give you specifics, hard factual information, and all you can give me is one big wet kiss what are you trying to pull?…. and this is your guy and this is his plan! C’mon GZ give me a break your telling me this is the best he can do, -LOL- I can’t believe this crap (12 points of wishful thinking) is what you are hanging your hat on…I have to say I am even more comfortable now, knowing the fact this scumbag couldn’t win the lottery if he were given the numbers before the drawing.
Ron Paul, being an obstetrician, would probably say to Rudy, “Promises are like babies…mostly easy to make but a bit hard to deliver.”
Remember this is the guy that never took the time to read the 9/11 report, neither could he take the time to participate on the committee in order to learn the real reason behind the attack, but chose instead to advance his political ambitions and increase his net worth by charging six figures for giving self promotional speeches. Your hitching your wagon to this disingenuous scumbag….puhleeze GZ, tell me it’s not true. If he had any conscience and an ounce of decency, at the very least he could have made his appearances at the speaking engagements for expenses only. However, he shows his true colors as a money grubbing, self serving weasel of a politician, which his supporters continue to ignore, and he implies that he will save the world from the bad guys. All so much cow puckey.

Well, I guess we will have to agree to disagree, that’s what makes a horse race, but I can hold my head up and sleep at night knowing my man is an honest, intelligent, forthright statesman, a man of integrity, and not a professional lying, self serving, deceitful, opportunist.

I must say I have enjoyed our little tete a tete and wish you the best of luck. Until you learn to demand more from your leadership, you will reap what you sow.
